Foundation Board: departures and new arrivals
written on the 14.07.2025Departures after years of commitment and outstanding contributions
In May 2024, Amanda Cotter and Robert Clerc left the Foundation Board after many years of volunteering. Their exceptional commitment enriched the mission of Terre des hommes Valais, strengthening its values and contributing to its development in the long term.
As the curtain fell on the year 2024, Dr Denis Chevalley, whose medical expertise and kindness have marked the support provided to children for more than twenty-eight years, also stepped down from his position. The foundation expresses its deep gratitude to them for their dedication and commitment.
New arrivals: diverse skills
In 2024, four new members joined the Foundation Board, bringing valuable assets: Nathalie Revaz, paediatrician; Jean-François Beth, financial manager; Olivier Derivaz, lawyer and notary; and Pedro Cardoso, architect.
In 2025, two other prominent figures joined the Foundation Board:
- Gislaine Carron, institutional communications specialist, mediator and former president of the Child and Adult Protection Authority for the districts of Martigny and St-Maurice. She brings valuable expertise and a long-standing commitment to children’s issues.
- Gérald Zufferey brings his solid experience in change management and digitalisation to La Maison.
The background diversity of these six new members is a real asset for the foundation. Their arrival represents the desire of the Terre des hommes Valais Foundation to draw on solid expertise in the medical, legal, financial and digital fields, as well as in the management of its architectural heritage, which consists of six buildings.
